Do you provide alcohol pipettes for cakes or treats?

No.  Any alcohol for your order, you will have to supply.

Can I pick up a cake today?

Our custom cakes are by appointment only. We do not have custom cakes available for pick up or sale as each cake is made to order. They can be ordered two weeks in advance unless otherwise noted.

What is required when placing an order?

We require at least half of the total as the non-refundable retainer.

What are your prices?

Because our cakes are completely custom made and priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list. There is a $75 minimum on any iced cake. We are happy to work within your event budget and encourage you to contact so that we can discuss your order.

Do you supply flowers for my cake?

If the flowers are made of buttercream or sugar, yes. For fake flowers requested, the additional fee will be added to your balance. Fresh flowers should be provided by the florist. Please make sure the florist washes the pesticides off the flowers prior to application, and that they have confirmed that your variety of flowers are not poisonous.

Do I have to order a cake?

No, although we are a custom cake company and that is our specialty, we also make various treats that can be ordered.  There is a two dozen minimum order for treats.

What forms of payment do you accept?

In addition to cash, we accept credit card payments via square, Zelle, cash app and paypal. No cash payments accepted on day of delivery or pick-up.

How far in advance should I order a custom cake?

We accommodate a limited number of cakes for any given date depending on the complexity of the design. We require a minimum of two to three weeks notice on all cake orders; however, weddings and special events are often booked up to a year in advance.  We can’t guarantee dates or pricing without a retainer, therefore we recommend you reserve your date as soon as you have confirmed your event and/or venue.

Can I get a different cake for each tier of my cake?

You may get different cakes for each tier however it will bring the final cost up and keep in mind each tier feeds a certain amount of people and may not be equal in the end.

Do you make Styrofoam “dummy” cakes for display?

Our pricing is based on the amount of detail and handwork involved in carrying out a particular design. A Styrofoam tier still needs to be decorated and is subject to the same pricing guidelines as actual cake due to labor.

If I bring you a photo of a cake can you make it?

We cannot recreate cakes exactly as any photo due to copyright laws.  If you would like  a cake replicated either you can note the change or you can leave it up to our discretion to make the change to the design as to not “copy” it exactly. All cakes are works of art and each decorator is an artist, we all have our own different styles, tools, and methods of creating custom cakes. We will use any provided photos as inspiration.

Can I order a cake in the shape of a character/figurine for a few people?

Yes you can order a cake in many different shapes/styles. Just remember some styles may deduct your number of servings depending on what the figure is.  Please take that into consideration when finalizing your order.

What is fondant? Must it be used on my cake?

Fondant is a rolled icing made from sugar, gelatin and corn syrup. Keep in mind, the fondant is not a replacement for buttercream; rather it is a final coating on top of the buttercream which enrobes your cake, keeping it fresh and moist. Fondant can update an old fashioned design, and provides a more modern look overall. It also increases stability, seals in freshness, and makes the cake easier to handle, decorate, transport and slice. It is the most heat stable of any finish, making its use near mandatory in warm/humid weather months. It can be easily removed by anyone not wishing to eat it.   Our fondant is a homemade marshmallow fondant. It is not mandatory for every cake.

Why are custom cakes more expensive than those sold at grocery or chain stores?

Unlike chain stores that mass produce a small variety of standard design cakes, custom cakes are designed, baked, and decorated specifically for each client. These works of art take many hours to complete; for complex designs, days are needed.

How many flavors can we choose?

For cakes orders serving 40 or more, you may choose up to 2 flavors. Smaller cake orders are limited to one flavor.

Do you offer vegan and/or gluten free options?

We are currently working on expounding into vegan options.

Do you put edible photos on cakes?

Yes. We can take an image or picture of your choice and print it on sugar paper to be placed on your cake. These images can be added at an additional cost. Keep in mind we cannot copy images that are copyright and/or trademark protected. We also reserve the right not to print pictures we deem inappropriate.

Do you do fondant covered cakes?

Yes, we cover cakes in fondant as well as make fondant decorations.

Why do you need so much notice for fondant items?

It can be very challenging for fondant figurines to be done in one day. The fondant is made and then over a course of several days, the figure has to dry so more can be added to it. We cannot put an unsteady fondant figurine on a cake. All completed figurines need to dry for at least 2 days when completely finished.

Do you deliver?

Yes we do deliver. Delivery fees are calculated based on mileage/tolls. Order pick up is available by 10am.

When do I need to pay my balance?

Your order must be paid in full 1 week before your event.

Should I keep my cake refrigerated?

Most cake tastes better at room temperature. Cakes made with fresh whipped cream should always be kept refrigerated.  Cakes can sit out in a cool air conditioned room for up to 3 hours any longer than that, we suggest refrigeration. To ensure freshness and avoid drying out, wrap cake in saran wrap.

Do you do wedding/party favors?

Yes! We have plenty of options/ideas for your event. Many treats can be personalized to cater your event.

Do you ship cakes or cupcakes?

We regret that at the moment we do not ship our cakes, as the delivery fee may be more then the actual cake cost. We can, however, ship some treats. Please inquire if interested.

Can I schedule a cake tasting?

Cake tastings are available for wedding cakes and special occasion cakes for 75 guests or more and require  three weeks advance notice. We charge a fee of $50 and include a variety of cake to sample. Complete non-refundable payment must be made prior to the date. If your order is made within five days of your tasting we will credit this fee towards your order.

Once confirmed, we will discuss the design of your cake, so please have any pictures, invitations, colors, etc, that will help us come up with something perfect for your event.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact us.
